Chlorine has many diversified uses including water treatment and many other technical processes. However, Chlorine Gas is highly hazardous and virulent in nature. So, exceptional precaution is to be taken in areas where chlorine is stored and handled.
If Plant Personnel are exposed to even low concentrations of chlorine gas for an extended period, it poses grave health hazard. Also, chlorine corrodes costly plant machinery resulting in wastage of time and money. Chlorine leak never gets arrested by itself, it only gets worse if not properly corrected and in time.
Chlorine Emergency Kit has been designed by our experienced team of Engineers to hold back / arrest most of the leaks arising from storing and handling of a Chlorine Container.

Precaution
Please note that during gas leaks, Emergency Kits should be used by trained Personnel wearing fully working, Self Contained Air Breathing Apparatus.
Regular Mock-Drills on handling Tonner /Cylinder leaks should be provided to all Operation/Maintenance Personnel, so that everyone is well trained in handling Tonner / Cylinder Leak Emergencies.
